Moving your curtain using the slider

How to move your RYSE SmartCurtain to a specific position using the RYSE app

Written by Sappho Hansen Smythe

The RYSE app allows you to move your window curtain to a specific position, just like you would if you were manually opening/closing them!

You can do this from the RYSE App Dashboard.

  1. In the RYSE app, tap the window you would like to control. This will open the slider control screen.

  2. The control screen features a slider, which is a representation of your window curtain. The notch on the slider at the bottom of the screen represents the exact position of your curtain.

To control your curtains using the slider can either:

    1. Slide the notch left or right for precise control

    2. Tap the notch where you would like the curtain to go

    3. Tap the pencil icon above the slider, and enter an exact percentage

    4. Use the arrow buttons to move between 0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%

    5. Tap the open/close buttons at the bottom of the screen to fully open/close your curtain(s)

NOTE: If you have a two-curtain window with two SmartCurtains installed, they can either be linked or unlinked.

If they are linked, the slider will move both curtains together. If they are unlinked, you can control them individually using the slider.

To link or unlink your SmartCurtains, tap the chain icon at the bottom of the screen.
