The SmartBridge must be already paired to the app. See here for instructions. Your SmartCurtain does not have to be already installed on your curtain rod to proceed with this tutorial.
To get started, either select "Add a Device", or tap the grey + button in the top right corner.
2. Select RYSE SmartCurtain.
The app will now take you through our interactive installation guide, showing how to install the batteries.
If you have already installed the batteries in your SmartCurtain, tap "skip" in the upper right corner.
If you have not yet installed the batteries in your SmartCurtain, proceed with the tutorial before moving on to the next step.
3. Select SmartBridge
4. The app will scan to find your SmartBridge. Tap the SmartBridge to select it from the list, then tap Select
5. Press the PAIR button on your SmartCurtain. You will see the light blink blue, confirming it is in pairing mode.
The SmartBridge will pair with the SmartCurtain, and you will see a green checkmark in the app.
6. Now it's time to set up your device. Choose a name for your window, and tap Next.
7. Identify how you would like to set up your window.
Note that if you select "Curtains open/close down the middle" at this step, you will be guided through the two-curtain pairing process. The process will involve pairing your first SmartCurtain, calibrating it, then repeating this process for the second SmartCurtain.
8. Follow the in-app tutorial to attach your SmartCurtain to your curtain rod! After this process is completed, you will see "Installation Complete" in the RYSE app. Tap the X in the top right corner to proceed with the next steps.
9. Next, it's time to set your device's positions. You will see the lights on your SmartCurtain flash red, green, and blue.
Use the arrows to set your fully opened position. Tap Select.
10. Then, use the arrows to set your fully closed position. Tap Select.
11. Your SmartCurtain is now paired and installed! Tap Done, and enjoy using your SmartCurtain.
