How to Factory Reset the Z-Wave Adapter?

Resetting the Z-Wave Adapter when used with the RYSE SmartShade

To factory reset the Z-Wave adapter while it is plugged into the SmartShade, follow these steps:

  1. Look for the pinhole on top of the SmartShade right above the Stop button. This is the Factory Reset button.

  2. Using any object with a pointed end (i.e. a pen or a pencil), press and hold the Factory Reset button for a few seconds. Once the lights on the SmartShade flash RED momentarily, you can release the button. It will then flash BLUE before becoming a solid BLUE.

  3. Wait for the lights to power off.

  4. Unplug the power source. This step is required to factory reset the Z-Wave adapter

    This will reset the Z-Wave adapter to factory settings.
