Pairing SmartShade to the App with SmartBridge

The SmartBridge must be already paired to the app. See here for instructions. The SmartShade should already be installed onto your window frame/shade.

  1. Tap the red plus icon the on the top right of the screen.


  2. Select "New Shade" from the list.


  3. Select "Configuration".


  4. Select "With SmartBridge".


  5. Select the SmartBridge you would like to pair the SmartShade with.


  6. Press the Pair button on the SmartShade. The SmartBridge will begin scanning for SmartShades and then automatically connect.


  7. This screen indicates that your SmartBridge has successfully connected with this SmartShade. You now have the opportunity to rename this shade. You can do so by tapping the Pencil icon, entering the desired name, and tapping Save.

    Tap "Set-up my SmartShade".


  8. The next few screens will walk you through how to set the top and bottom positions for your SmartShade. See instructions here.


  9. Tap "Done" when you have successfully configured your shade positions.


  10. If you haven't already added your SmartBridge to HomeKit (iOS only), you will be presented with the below screen.

    Select "No, take me to RYSE app" if you would like to skip this.


You should now see the newly added SmartShade on your dashboard. You have successfully paired SmartShade to the app!
