Please ensure the SmartShade is already mounted and attached to the beaded chain/cord loop. Fully charge the BatteryPack prior to connecting it to the SmartShade.

Hold the SmartShade for support and attach the BatteryPack on to the bottom of your SmartShade. There will be a click when the battery is secure. See below gif.
