Prior to removing your SmartShade from the mounting bracket, unplug your power source (the BatteryPack, or A/C power adapter).
To remove your SmartShade from the mounting bracket:
Press and hold the quick-release button at the bottom of the SmartShade.
Lift the SmartShade up and slide it off the mount.
Ensure that you hold the quick-release button through the entire process. Improper removal of SmartShade may damage the mount and in rare cases, can pull the mounting bracket off the mounting material (i.e., drywall).
