RYSE

Prior to connecting to Google Home, ensure you have downloaded the RYSE app and added your SmartBridge as well as all of your SmartShades to the RYSE app.

Note: Integration with Google Home requires the SmartBridge.

Follow these steps to connect your SmartShades to Google Home:

Tap the Plus icon on the top left of the screen.

Tap the Search icon on the top right.

Search for "RYSE SmartShades". Tap "RYSE SmartShades" from the search results.

Enter the same email and password that you used to create an account in the RYSE app. Tap "Sign in". You will then see the next screen with the message "RYSE SmartShades is linked".

You will then see all of the SmartShades you added to the RYSE app. Select one of the SmartShades to begin adding it to the Google Home app. Note that you cannot add multiple SmartShades to the Google Home app at the same time.

Choose a home to assign this SmartShade to and then tap "Next".

Assign the SmartShade to a room and then tap "Next".

You have to repeat steps 8-10 for all of the other SmartShades you would like to connect to Google Home.

The newly added SmartShades will appear under the homes/rooms you assigned them to. You can recognized them by the yellow window shade symbol.

1. Open the Google Home app. 
2. Tap the Plus icon on the top left of the screen. 
 
 
3. Select "Set up device". 
 
 
4. Tap "Works with Google". 
 
 
5. Tap the Search icon on the top right. 
 
 
6. Search for "RYSE SmartShades". Tap "RYSE SmartShades" from the search results. 
 
 
7. Enter the same email and password that you used to create an account in the RYSE app. Tap "Sign in". You will then see the next screen with the message "RYSE SmartShades is linked". 
 
 
8. You will then see all of the SmartShades you added to the RYSE app. Select one of the SmartShades to begin adding it to the Google Home app. Note that you cannot add multiple SmartShades to the Google Home app at the same time. 
 
 
9. Choose a home to assign this SmartShade to and then tap "Next". 
 
 
10. Assign the SmartShade to a room and then tap "Next". 
 
 
11. You have to repeat steps 8-10 for all of the other SmartShades you would like to connect to Google Home. 
 
 
12. The newly added SmartShades will appear under the homes/rooms you assigned them to. You can recognized them by the yellow window shade symbol.

You are now ready to open your shades by saying "Hey Google, open my shade!"
