RYSE SmartShades can be installed on metal window frames using double sided tape, command strips, or sheet metal screws. In this article, we will detail how you can use screws to install your SmartShade on a metal frame.
Tools Required:
#6 x ¾” or ½” Sheet Metal Screws
⅛” Cobalt Drill Bit for Stainless Steel
#1 Phillips Screwdriver
Drill (any brand)

Note: If you prefer not to use screws, it is also possible to use 3M VHB Tape to attach your mounting bracket to the wall. However, this tape is very difficult to remove, so we suggest using screws in most installations.
Another option is to use command strips, for a renter-friendly installation.
