If your SmartBridge is already connected to your RYSE account and you want to switch it from one Wi-Fi network to another, please follow the steps below. This can be useful if you are moving to a new home, or need to change the Wi-Fi network your SmartBridge is on.
Note: this functionality is only available for BR-0201 model SmartBridges.
To move your SmartBridge to a new Wi-Fi Network:
Go to the router that is broadcasting the Wi-Fi network you want to switch to. Connect the SmartBridge to your router via the provided ethernet cable, and plug it into the provided power cable. You will see all three (3) blue lights gradually come on.
In the RYSE app, tap the SmartBridge Settings icon on the right side of the screen.
Tap "Wi-Fi Connection"
The SmartBridge will now scan for Wi-Fi Networks. Select your network from the list.
Enter your Wi-Fi password, then tap "Connect"
At this point, disconnect the ethernet cable. The SmartBridge cannot be connected to your network with ethernet and Wi-Fi at the same time, so disconnecting the cable will allow the SmartBridge to switch to your Wi-Fi network. Then, tap "Next"
Wait for all three (3) blue LEDs to light up, then tap "Done"
Your SmartBridge will now be on your new network!
