Create a Group (of up to 4 Shades) via Bluetooth

How to Group your Bluetooth SmartShades

With Bluetooth, you can create a Group of up to 4 SmartShades!

To create a Bluetooth Group:

  1. From the RYSE App Dashboard, select the Groups tab

  2. At the top of the screen, ensure Bluetooth is selected. If you have paired all your SmartShades via Bluetooth, it will be selected by default

    Either tap "Create Group", or tap the + button in the top right corner

  3. Name the group, then tap "Save"

  4. At the top of the screen, ensure Bluetooth is selected to view your SmartShades (that are paired with Bluetooth). Select which SmartShades you would like to add to the Group. Tap "Save"

  5. The app will now connect to your devices, and create your Group!

Notes:

  • SmartShades can only be added to a Bluetooth Group if they have already been added to the RYSE app via Bluetooth.

  • RYSE SmartShades cannot be grouped with AXIS Gears.

  • With the SmartBridge, you can create a Group of up to 10 SmartShades. To learn more about SmartBridge Groups, please see our article here.
