RYSE SmartShades come with a built-in obstacle detection feature. It is automatically enabled, and causes the SmartShade to stop moving if it detects an obstacle (such as an oversized object on the beaded chain, or a stuck chain).
Key Features:
If the device detects an anomaly in the amount of force exerted from the chain, it will stop moving. If you would like your SmartShade to begin moving again, please remove the obstruction and send a new command.
While you are setting your top/bottom positions, obstacle detection is disabled. As soon as your top/bottom positions are set, obstacle detection will turn on.
If you would like to disable the obstacle detection feature, go to your SmartShade's settings and toggle obstacle detection off.
Do not deliberately place obstacles on your beaded chain, as this can cause damage to your device (especially if obstacle detection is disabled).
