Pairing SmartShade to the App via SmartBridge

The SmartBridge must be already paired to the app. See here for instructions. The SmartShade should already be installed onto your window frame/shade.

  1. To get started, either select "Add a SmartShade", or select the grey + button in the top right corner and select "Add RYSE SmartShade".

  2. Select "Configuration".

  3. Follow the in-app instructions to set the top and bottom positions of your SmartShade.
    ​

    After this process is complete, tap "Next".

  4. Optionally, you may select either of the on-screen options to learn more about your SmartShade's features. When you are ready to proceed with pairing, tap "Next".

  5. Select "SmartBridge".

  6. The app will begin scanning for your SmartBridge. When your SmartBridge is found, tap the SmartBridge's name to select it.

  7. Press the "PAIR" button on your SmartShade. This will make the SmartShade visible to your SmartBridge, and enable the devices to connect.

  8. Your SmartShade will now be paired with the SmartBridge! Optionally, tap the text box under "SmartShade Name", and give your SmartShade a custom name.

    Then, tap "Done"

  9. Select your preferred speed setting using the slider, or by entering a select percentage into the text box. Tap "Save".

  10. Your SmartShade will now be paired with your SmartBridge, and visible on your dashboard!
