How to Pair Your SmartShade to the V1 SmartButton

In this guide, we will take you through the process of pairing the V1 SmartButton to your RYSE SmartShades. Please note that the V1 SmartButton is only compatible with RYSE SmartShades, and is not compatible with the SmartCurtain.

Steps:

  1. Insert the battery into the SmartButton. Ensure that the negative side of the battery is facing up. You will hear a beep, confirming the SmartButton is powered.

  2. Press and hold the RYSE SmartButton for about 3 - 4 seconds until you hear a beep. The LED on the SmartButton will turn blue, indicating that it is in pairing mode.

  3. Press the PAIR button on the SmartShade; you will hear another beep indicating that the SmartShade is paired with the SmartButton.

  4. The pairing is now complete!

To operate the SmartButton:

  • If your shades are closed, press once to fully open your shades. Press again during movement if you would like to stop the shade.

  • If your shades are open, press once to fully close your shades. Press again during movement if you would like to stop the shade.
