How to Create Groups with the SmartButton
The RYSE SmartButton is a simple remote control that enables you to send commands to up to four (4) SmartShades with a single push.
NOTE: For the best user experience, please pair all your SmartShades before you issue a command.
To add multiple SmartShades to your RYSE SmartButton:
Make sure all the SmartShades you plan to pair with the SmartButton are calibrated.
Ensure you are in proximity (30ft) from the SmartShade you would like to pair with.
Press and hold the RYSE SmartButton for 5 seconds or until you hear a beep and notice the light change to blue.
Now press the PAIR button once on the SmartShade, and let go.
You will hear a slightly longer beep, and the blue pairing light will disappear.
You have now paired the first Smartshade with the RYSE SmartButton.
Remove the battery from the SmartButton.
Reinsert the battery into the RYSE SmartButton and repeat steps 1 through step 7 until you have paired all your Smartshades. Each button can be paired with up to 4 SmartShades.
WARNING: do not issue a move command to the SmartShades via the SmartButton during the paring process.
