Before getting started, make sure your phone is connected to the Wi-Fi network that you would like your SmartBridge to connect to, and download the RYSE app from the Google Play store.
To pair your SmartBridge to the RYSE app:
On the RYSE dashboard, tap "Add a SmartBridge", or tap the + button in the upper right corner and select "Add RYSE SmartBridge".
Plug your SmartBridge into a power outlet using the provided power adapter. The range of the SmartBridge is approximately 30ft, so please be sure to plug it in within range of your SmartShades.
Wait for the leftmost LED to turn solid blue, then tap "Next".
Select "BR-0201".
If you are getting set up for the first time, your SmartBridge will not yet be on your Wifi network. If you only see the leftmost blue light lit on your SmartBridge, select "No".
Otherwise, if your SmartBridge is already on your Wi-Fi network, you will see all 3 blue LEDs turn on. If this is the case, select "Yes" and the app will scan your Wi-Fi network to find the SmartBridge and add it to your dashboard right away!
Select "Wi-Fi Connection"
The app will search for your SmartBridge. When it is found, select your SmartBridge by tapping its name. The app will proceed to identify your SmartBridge.
Select your WiFi network. If your network does not appear, tap the Refresh button in the top right corner.
Enter your network password, and tap "Connect"
Wait until all three LED's turn on (this could take a few minutes). Your SmartBridge is now connecting to your network, and will be online shortly.
Once all LEDs are lit up, tap "Next" to scan your network for your SmartBridge.
The app will now scan your network to find the SmartBridge.
When the SmartBridge is found, select your SmartBridge from the list.
Now, it's time to set your SmartBridge details.
If you would like to rename your SmartBridge, tap the pencil icon beside the device's current name and type in a new name.
To set your time zone, tap the pencil icon beside Set-Up Time Zone, type in your location, and select your time zone. This will ensure routines run at the right time.
